Soooo...last night Joe had a rough night. I woke up to Joe Kicking me in the shin...I was like OUCH Joe...and his words were..."thats what you get for misbehaving". haha...I think he was kind of awake but just barely. And just before that he was like punching my arm and holding my left hand down...(not hard just restraining me) I was like JOE what are you doing?"he was like OH...sorry..." (he rolled over and went back to sleep)Anyway... Just before bed we were watching the news and I guess Joe was having bad dreams about Barack Obama...He said he had a nightmare that Obama became president and our government crumbled to pieces and everyone was turning against everyone and Joe was "fighting" for his rights.. Crazy dream right?...

I am so greatful to be blessed with such a great mom. You have taught me so many wonderful things this past year. I look up to you in every possible way. I love to see you laugh with your kids...especially Joe. I know he loves when you laugh at him and his silly jokes...You make everything so light and fun. You are such a wonderful mom and grandma. Ryah is so lucky to have someone like you to play with. You are such a great cook. I love everytime we come to snowflake because your meals are to die for. I could eat your salads for every meal. You are strong and brave and kind. One of the most kind people I have ever met. and FUN. you are so much fun. I like how you keep everyone busy with fun. it is so great to escape down here in mesa to you because its like nothingness to party! haha Jackie, you are so great. Thank you for being such a great mother-in-law. and thank you for teaching Joe how to be a hard worker and how to have fun also. Ryah has been nothing but smiles lately. It has been so nice/fun! It really does make everything worth while. she is now 2 months old and getting so big. I can't believe how fast she is growning. she loves her daddy. Her eyes follow him around the room if we are getting ready for bed or follow him if he is anywhere in sight. I guess she is going to be a daddys girl because he can't get enough of her either. (neither can i)..she's too precious...Her smile will brighten anyones day. we love her so much... today we had her two month old dr. appointment....it about made joe and i both cry. I made Joe come with me because she was getting her shots...man it was such a sad thing to hold her hands down and let them give her shots. She was being so good too..(she was deff. not smiling) then wham bam we left the dr's office with Ryah's legs looking like this... taz mania and hot pink bandaids stuck to her legs..
so sorry ryah...it is only for the best...we love you and just want to hold you and make you feel better.

On this special day of August 14, I want to wish you the best birthday ever! You are always the one to remember everyones birthday...and of course some how...everyone always forgets yours.. Except for Jeff of course. I still remember when we were at Lake Powell on your birthday and like in the middle of the afternoon mom rememberd...and went to town to buy a cake.. sad sad. BUT I will never forget your birthday now. It is engraven in my head. Krista you are the sweetest, prettiest, funniest, most kind person I have ever met. I remember when you would come home, I would get so excited because you would do my hair and share your cloths with me. And you were always excited to do those things with me. Krista you were always the one who I loved hanging out with, even though we are like 6 years apart you always made me feel like your equal. Plus you are hott hott so you always got attention and it made me feel special for some reason?? haha weird. Big sisters are the best. {You are the best.} You and I have always got along great. and over the years you have become one of my best friends. Thank you for always making me feel so special. You are so special.. I have so many great memories with you. I remember at girls camp my first year..I was watching you during the skits just thinking...I want to be just like Krista. You are the best example.
