The Humpty Dance...

Alright, this is my first post of all time (this is Joe). I imagine when the blogging community see's this it will also be my last. Landon and I were out hunting deer today and we found a little buck with all kinds of swagger. In the first picture he's eyeing, the second he's liking what he see's, and in the third he's doing what he loves. I hope Landon took notes cause I really want a niece or nephew!

i love him.

I love Joe.

Saturday night (8ish), we decided to go for a little walk around the town homes. As we were walking around the back side we saw the swimming pool.
-I jokingly told him we should go jump in.
As I sat trying to convince him, I started to talk myself into it. Well...He jumped the gate and let me in.
I pushed Ryah through in her stroller, and stood at the face of the water as my heart rate increased wildly.
Joe started taking off his shoes, (me thinking, are we really going to jump in?) so I started taking off my shoes.
My heart, was beating so hard it hurt... I had never been so nervous yet so excited.

Hand in hand, we ran into the water fully dressed.
Yes... Fully dressed.

I screamed only because...
the water was freezing!
I felt like my body was paralyzed from the freezing cold water.
we swam back to the side and got out of the pool

giggling and laughing like school girls.

Joe put his shoes back on, but I didn't want to get mine all wet
and we ran all the way home,
with big huge smiles on our faces.

It was so fun. haha we kept telling Ryah, "you have crazy parents" .. .
yep crazy cool:)

I love Joe, and his fun fun personality.
A few things we've done together.

Ryah's first Christmas

lookin' good
Bryn, Aveyn, Ryah, Raylee
Ryah opening her presents from Grandma and Grandpa

So she has like no neck here... She looks extra chubby in her Christmas dress!

It was so much fun having Christmas in Snowflake with all of Joe's family. While all the boys went out hunting the girls all stayed in and made jewelry from our old jewelry and we also made cards with our new stamp sets. It's amazing being around all those crafty girls, Bekah, Lindsay, Jessica, Kate and Jackie, they have the cutest ideas... so creative. (Laura was sick) I had a lot of fun though, I got to make Ryah a really cute braclet.

Ryah got a sweet camo hat-
a sweet camo shirt-
and a sweet camo colored monkey-

-just like her daddy...

She got a teether ring
a glow worm
a cute beeny w/ cute flowers.
and a hand woven blue and white nitted sweater.

new year, new month, new day, new hour, new minute, new second.

I still do not have our Christmas pictures, Joe has the memory stick with those images so... For now, you get to see our incredible new year "dress up" party.

We had a fun new year party. We went to Traci and Marcus's house, and played games (battle of the sexes) had dinner and talked about old times, birthing times and our sweet husbands...
Joe and I forgot to kiss at midnight. silly us.

The theme was famous couples. and here are the pictures...

Wayne and Garth aka: Kate and Landon
Joe dirt and sleezy girl who loves him aka: Randy and Kendra
Michael Jackson and Little boy aka: Traci and Marcus
Juno and Bleeker aka: Rachel and Sam
Sandi and Danny aka: Kelly and Patrick
Luke Skywalker and Princess Laya aka: Joe and Chelsea

For this new year, I want to try harder to speak more kindly of everyone.
I want to be a better wife for Joe.
Raise Ryah letting her know how much I love her.
I want to be more grateful in noticing the small things.
Serve more, talk to people and come out of my comfort zone.

happy 09
!

ps. Thanks for the pictures Kate. They are awesome
