The first crop of our tomatoes
My first time canning. Beets, pickles, and green beans.
The sunset from our porch.
Our not yet ripe watermelons. We have loads so if anyone wants some. let us know!
Cantaloupes which are almost ready
Our beets, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, cucumber, and cantaloupe plants.
Our corn, we have already eaten a few ears. It is delicious!
Our home, hanging baskets and zenias.
I'm excited to say our first garden was a triumph! It has been a full time job between finding, picking, washing, preparing, and finally bottling or eating. It has been fun though. I love being here and being able to have a garden. The sunsets are the most beautiful and the kids love running around free. I feel so blessed with everything. I am so grateful to live here and have such a great husband who put the water system in for the garden and prepared everything so it turned out so amazing! Now if we can remember next year what we did for this year we will be ok. This gardening thing actually works. Weird...

My little Male Nurse
Joe is done with nursing school!
I am proud of him and all the hard work he put into the past two years. Between being a dad, a husband, and dealing with a pregnant wife with a sick baby this last year he did amazing. His teachers were so good with him when he had to miss school for certain things that were going on with Brigham. And he always went back to school and did a great job on his tests and make up work. I was so emotional this night and felt such a proud feeling for Joe. I really am so grateful to be married to this man. He is so ambitious and anything he sets his mind to will be accomplished.
Joe was also asked to be the student speaker. Go figure (he is loved by everyone). He handled it with such grace and ease. He kept the audiance laughing and everyone entertained.
Joe, I am so excited and proud of you! Thank you for everything you do for our family. Thank you for always working so hard in all you do. It makes me better. I love you! Congratulations!
I think we can call it stage fright
Ryah had her dance recital after about four months of dance class and it ended like this:
She walks up on stage like the shyest little thing I've ever seen.
Then she starts her dance, but likes looking around her and at the other girls rather then doing her dance.
She then looks out into the audience, hears us cheering her on in the third row but can't see.
Starts twirling her hair nervously.
With a squint in her eyes she begins to call out for her mom. (in the middle of her dance)
Then gets more nervouse that I'm not anwsering...
And boom, she starts weeping, "mommy, mmmmmooooomm.." hands imidiately come to her face, sholders bouncing full out cry.
And then exits the stage in the middle of the dance.
Bravo...
Haha... all those long months of her "dancing" really paid off. Ryah Seriously has stage fright. Big time and I'm just begining to see it more and more. She gets so nervous doing things she's not comfortable with. She starts licking her lips, and twirling her finger in her hair. It's super cute. Oh and Yes we got it all on video. But I don't know how to put it on my computer from my video recorder. (sorry) But I love sweet Ryah Roo, I'm proud of her for trying. She is constantly keeping us laughing.
The first picture she just looks so big and grown up to me. So pretty:)
The second is her whole class.
I had to put the third picture up there because Kate just put a post up about her nose and it being grandpa Denhalter's nose. Well this certain face for some reason reminds me of that same nose. Maybe its the mouse face? Don't mind the runny nose part. She was just getting over a cold. But Anyway this seems to be a Grandpa Denhalter nose and if she looks anything like Kate I will be soooooo happy. Kate is a knock out!

it's been a while
This is from my birthday Trip, Joe once again took me on an amazing trip to Pagosa Springs Colorado. It was such a fun mountain. A little extreme, but fun. I love spending time with this fun guy. He rocks at everything, so doing anything with him is super fun!
This is from Angies awesome Easter Party. She really knows how to throw a party. There were a little over 70 kids and around 50 adults. I just put a few pictures on because i'm way behind on posts and don't want to bore you:)
On Easter Sunday we went to visit Brigham's grave. It was a nice reminder of the true meaning of Easter. We did order his headstone and it should be in soon. I will post pictures of that when it arrives. I am going to try to keep my posts updated from now on! It's my goal.

triumph my dear
Well Ethan's run was a triumph! It was such a wonderful experience running for something so close and dear to me. We finished the 10K. Brigham's picture was mile marker three and It was definitatly an energy booster. The first two miles were up hill so when I hit three it was amazing to see Brigham there sitting at the top of the hill waiting for me and to cheer me on. I can't express all the feelings you feel to experience such an amazing task.
Thank you everyone who came. It was so fun to see all of you and so nice to see all those who love and support Brigham and our family. I am so proud of everyone who ran and finished the race. It was very emotional to watch our family and friends cross the finish line. We were all running for something good and you could feel the love in the atmosphere all around us.
The shirts turned our great, Thank you so much Kate for the design. You are amazing. I wish you could have been there! Here are some of the people from our group. Bekah has more pictures, but these are the only ones I have.
